I’m at my parents’ house in Kansas for the holidays, and I can’t say the going is too rough. I sleep until 8 everyday. I Tivo things I have no intention of watching. I follow the strict regimen of a Wii Fit personal trainer who appears cheerfully oblivious to the fact that I have a large piece of cake in one hand and a beer in the other. Sure, said distractions might have something to do with my “Wii Fit age” being 57, but I don’t really mind that my trainer thinks I have grandkids and a pension tucked away somewhere. My cake-holding side plank is impeccable. As is my ability to ski jump after three beers. No, it’s not too soon...
